How to Sell

For those with semen to sell, Semenstore aims to market your bulls in an effective manner, credit your account on a monthly basis and look after all aspects of storage, delivery, invoicing etc. If you have semen for sale, please contact Semenstore for further information and a Semenstore Entry Form.

You can place a Full Insert or a Classified Listing:

A Full Insert allows for full marketing of a particular bull (picture, marketing text, figures, pedigree etc) and you will be asked to put forward a minimum quantity of 100 straws. The minimum selling price is likely to be in the region of £8-10 + VAT per straw.

A Classified Listing contains brief details of the bull only and is suitable for vendors with less than 100 straws of semen for sale or for semen which is at the lower price range. There is no minimum selling price. 

Please note that in order to qualify, all semen must have been collected at - and currently stored in - a licenced facility. Semen which is stored in an on-farm flask is not eligible. At present the Semenstore site offers just Limousin semen, however it is anticipated that other breeds and/or species will be added in the future according to demand.
