How To Buy

Simply search for bulls, select and purchase semen. You can purchase semen from as many bulls as you wish as long as you buy a minimum of 5 straws in total with a minimum semen order value of £50. Once you have made your selection/s, simply proceed to checkout. You will need a debit or credit card, your name, address including postcode as well as delivery address and postcode, if different.

 - New Users.  When you buy, you will be asked "Are you a member?" but New Users should click on "Next". Later, at the checkout stage, you will be asked if you wish to have an account created automatically which means that the ordering process will be shorter when you next visit. To do this, you will be asked to create a user name and password. You do not have to create an account - instead you can buy as a New User each time if you prefer.

 - Returning Users. Enter your email and password. If you have forgotten this, just click "Next" and skip this section.

Delivery

During the ordering process you will be asked to choose a delivery option - either DIY AI or Technician Service. For DIY AI a one-off charge of £25 for delivery plus £10 packing will be added. For Technician Service, you will be asked to choose from a drop-down list of Technicians (including Genus and all Independents) which will be charged on the basis of £2.75 per straw plus a £10 packing fee. All charges are exclusive of VAT.

UK mainland deliveries can usually be sent from the central storage "hub" within ten to sixteen working days depending on when the order is made and where it is being delivered to.

Deliveries to Northern Ireland - where possible a shipment to Northern Ireland is made every two/three weeks.  Upon arrival with the AI Technician the delivery needs to be cleared with the Ministry Vet, this can take 2 days.   Deliveries are then split into regions and thereafter the deliveries made as quickly as possible.  To check when the next shipment date is due to be made please do not hesitate to contact the office.

Deliveries to Genus - if the flask that you want your order to go to is in a different name to the name you have placed an order in (i.e. a business name or you share a flask with a third party) could you please phone us on Tel: 02476-696277 so that we can take a note of the appropriate details.
