Adding another quality entry to the portfolio of Limousin bulls on the site, Mereside Godolphin is now available on www.semenstore.co.uk

Mereside Godolphin was purchased by Willie Barron, Morrow Edge Farm, Burnhope, Durham, for the 40,000gns top price at the British Limousin Cattle Society’s May 2013 Sale held in Carlisle.

He is by the 35,000gns Plumtree Deus, a Cloughhead Umpire son, and is out of Mereside Dawnmarie (by the French sire Alaska) whose pedigree goes back to a foundation female of the Mereside Herd, Tankersley Trixie.  Described as ‘hard muscled with fantastic shape and width’, Godolphin won the Best Bull Calf award in the 2012 East Midlands Herd Competition and then Best Stock Bull for purchaser Willie Barron in the 2013 North East Herd Competition.

Mereside Godolphin is available for £30 per straw. A £50 Semen Royalty also applies for pedigree calves registered.
